Alexey Danilov told how the ATO volunteers were on the sanctions list

One of the volunteers on the sanctions list is allegedly involved in robbing a jewelry store and killing a security guard.

ATO veterans from the Sheikh Mansur battalion were included in the NSDC’s sanctions list “not by accident.” This was announced at a press conference on Friday, June 4, by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov.

Commenting on media reports that volunteers who participated in the hostilities in Donbass were included in the NSDC’s list, Danilov said that “not a single random person can be included in the sanctions list.”

According to him, the lists are checked and verified in advance not only in Ukraine, but also in other countries.

Danilov said that one of the volunteers on the list was allegedly involved in the robbery of a jewelry store in Kiev, when a security guard was also killed. Another person on the list is in jail, and two more are in criminal cases.

At the same time, Danilov did not name the names of the persons involved in the list in question.

It is known that the list includes several natives of Chechnya, including the commander of the Sheikh Mansur battalion Muslim Cheberloevsky.

We will remind, in August 2018 in Kiev three intruders robbed a jewelry store and shot the guard.

Danilov also said today that there are no “thieves in law” left in Ukrainewho were included in the sanctions list.
