‘The North Korean War Prohibition Act’ filibuster in 24 hours Voting rush

On the afternoon of the 14th, 24 hours after the filibuster (obstruction of legitimate doctors through unlimited debate) about the’Prohibition of Shear Spray Against North Korea’ began on the afternoon of the 14th.

In the main assembly hall of the National Assembly, the vote on the application for the termination of the filibuster began at 9:36 pm on the same day after the remarks of Ho-young Joo, the National Power of the People.

On the previous day (13th), 177 members of the Pan-Passport, including the Democratic Party, the Open Democratic Party, and the Basic Income Party, submitted an application to the National Assembly Doctors Division requesting an end to the unlimited debate because of the seriousness of the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) situation.

Rep. Tae Young-ho, who was the first speaker of the Act on the Development of Inter-Korean Warfare (Amendment to the Act on the Development of Inter-Korean Relations), filed an application for termination of the filibuster at about 8:49 pm.

If the passport approves the end of the filibuster with more than 180 votes in favor, the unlimited debate that began in opposition to the amendment to the Senior Officials Criminal Investigation Office (Airlift) Act on the 9th will end in five days.

The filibuster related to the amendment to the National Intelligence Service Act, which began on the 10th, was also ended through the same process the previous day (13th).

177 lawmakers pan-passport applied for the end of the filibuster on the 12th, saying that measures at the level of the National Assembly are necessary as the Corona 19 situation has become serious, and the filibuster was ended with a pull-up with 180 votes in favor of the vote.

Under the National Assembly Act, a motion to terminate the filibuster can be submitted with the approval of more than one-third of the registered lawmakers, and 24 hours after submission, the filibuster can be terminated with the approval of more than 180 people, three-fifths of the registered lawmakers.

If more than 180 votes are secured in the voting on this day, Filibuster Jungkook is expected to end in the end. In addition, in a vote that takes place immediately after the filibuster is over, the law against North Korean warfare spraying is passed through the National Assembly.

As a result, the Democratic Party will take care of all major legislative agendas raised by the Party, including the amendment to the Airlift Act and the amendment to the National Intelligence Service Act.
