the next smartphones will be equipped with Snapdragon 865+

According to the famous leaker Ice Universe on Twitter, we learn that the next smartphones from Samsung which will be released at the end of 2020 will be well equipped with the Snapdragon 865+.

As announced earlier this year by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the existence of the Snapdragon 865+ seems to confirm and it will be available this summer.

Via a tweet, Ice Universe details a whole list of smartphones and tablets that will be equipped with the next processor from Qualcomm. This list includes Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold 2, which should respectively be released in August and September 2020. There are also the new Tab 7 tablets and the Z Flip 5G, successor to the Galaxy Z Flip.

The Snapdragon 865+ processor should have a clock speed of 3.09 GHz on its main core, which will be higher than the 2.84GHz of the Snapdragon 865.

According to an AnTuTu benchmark, the Snapdragon 865+ chipset has a total score of 667 253 points, which includes a CPU score of 184,973 points, a GPU score of 283,302 points, a MEM score of 112,050 points and a UX score of 86,928 points. This is slightly higher than the current 600,000 points of the Snapdragon 865.

The Snapdragon still unavailable in Europe?

Samsung got into the habit of not release its phones equipped with a Snapdragon in Europe, these were generally reserved for the United States and South Korea. Instead, we are entitled to their own Exynos processor, competitor to Snapdragon. This time we would have the right to a new version of their home processor, the Exynos 992, which will replace theExynos 990, which had experienced some problems.
