A little while ago we reported the news of the set LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog spread by SEGA. Another set will arrive on the market before that LEGO Ideas: the Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh.
To announce it is the same LEGO sul blog LEGO Ideas, confirming that the project proposed by Truman Cheng (aka legotruman) and voted by 10,000 users, has been approved and will soon go into production.
The brick representation of Cheng’s project is wonderful: he doesn’t just try to reproduce the famous painting of 1889 in two dimensions, which is already difficult with bricks, but tries to give it further depth making part of the setting come out of the painting itself.
In the project, consisting of 1,552 pieces, is also included a minifigure of the painter, including brush, palette and canvas. For the moment we leave you with the images proposed by the author on the LEGO Ideas platform. The hope is that LEGO does not distort the project too much (for example, deviating towards the style of LEGO Art) and that perhaps it does not offer it at too prohibitive prices.
