BOLASPORT.COM – Two descent players, Jim Crunch and Ivar Jenner definitely ready to defend Indonesian U-19 National Team for the 2021 U-20 World Cup. Both will be Elkan Baggot’s successors.

Elkan Baggot was originally projected to strengthen Indonesia in the U-20 World Cup which was supposed to be rolled out in 2021.

However, due to the pandemic, the prestigious tournament among young people had to be postponed until 2023.

Given that the venue for the U-20 World Cup remains in Indonesia, the Garuda Muda squad has begun to be prepared again.



One of them composes the composition of the best squad by relying on hereditary players.

So far, there are only two descendants who are willing to become Indonesian citizens, namely: Jim Crunch and Ivar Jenner.

The certainty of the joining of the two Dutch players is Indonesian U-19 National Team presented by PSSI Executive Committee Member, Hasani Abdulgani.

“They’re both okay. However, currently we are still prioritizing naturalization players for the senior national team,” Hasani said as quoted by Antara.

“If everything is in order, then we will start processing naturalization them,” he said.
