It has just introduced a new generation of the Swift model, the fourth overall. And it is interesting at first glance. Although Suzuki took the path of evolution of the design of its predecessor, it approached it in an interesting way, thanks to which the car changed quite significantly.
The small hatchback retains playfully rounded edges and similar proportions to the third generation, but adds a nose with a new radiator grille and, in particular, an unusual front hood design. However, the lines stretching on the sides of the car or the newly designed headlights will also attract attention.
We cannot provide dimensions yet, technical data and specifications will be released by Suzuki later. However, we can take a look at the interior, which, although peeked through, still maintains a sympathetic “classic” approach to control.
There is also a modern 9-inch infotainment touchscreen, pushed to the upper edge of the dashboard so that you can see it, but it is complemented by physical controls and a traditional instrument panel with analog alarm clocks.
The drive will be provided by a 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol engine equipped with mild-hybrid technology, which should offer better fuel consumption, lower emissions and higher torque at low revs. However, we still have to wait for specific numbers and specifications.

In any case, the new Swift should arrive not only as front-wheel drive, but also with all-wheel drive. At the same time, the 4×4 version is often not offered by competitors several classes larger, who try to look like pure SUVs. The cute novelty should go on sale in the spring of next year, so there is still time for detailed information and prices…
