The new Resident Evil Village trailer offers both horror and mystery

Capcom har now released a new trailer from the next episode of his famous horror game series, Resident Evil Village.

The trailer, which you can see at the top of the article, gives us a few more hints about the story and the surroundings, but proper insight into the gameplay itself is unfortunately still lacking.

Resident Evil Village was first announced in June and takes place similar to the previous game in first-person perspective.

Takes place a few years after the previous game

The action is set a few years later Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, and we meet again with both Mia and Ethan Winters. The couple lives in peace and tolerance, until Resident Evil veteran Chris Redfield shows up and starts a new round of chaos events in Resident Evil 7.

The developer promises that dangers will lurk “around every corner”, and judging by the trailers, we have to hone in on quite fierce enemies, but beyond that, Capcom has been pretty stingy with the details.

The game has not yet been released, but is scheduled to be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC sometime next year.
