The new collegial governance of the Neuchâtel Hospital Network (RHNE) will come into effect on September 1. The date will correspond to the entry into function of the two site directors appointed in February.
Claire Charmet will thus take office to manage the La Chaux-de-Fonds site, while Muriel Desaulles, acting director general for the Neuchâtel site, will become the incumbent, the RHNe said on Wednesday. The two site directors will sit on a college of directors, which will include three women out of five members.
In addition, the coronavirus crisis caused some delay in the work of the board of directors, which was to work on four projects. The Council of State entered the matter on an extension of five months of the deadlines. It now expects the first two reports at the end of August and the last two on December 14.
