From 1 May a new general practitioner will be operative in Voltana. The replacement task, after the resignation of the two doctors in charge Laura Bandini and Michelangelo Manolio Fabbri, was in fact entrusted to Dr. Anisa Simoni, who will work alongside Dr. Andrea Nanni in the district of Lughese.
Aware of the importance of local medicine and a structured network of general practitioners, Ausl Romagna continues its commitment to reach definitive replacements with two doctors holding agreements in order to restore group medicine and strengthen the Casa della Salute di Voltana . The staff of general practitioners operating from May 1st, even if with one doctor less than the previous one, will in any case guarantee assistance to all citizens of Voltano. “As we wrote in the political document ‘The social and health system in Lugo at the time of Covid’, wanted by the majority forces and approved by the City Council, – comments the mayor of Lugo Davide Ranalli – it is absolutely necessary to enhance territorial medicine, the health centers and the Houses of Health.
