The Netflix production “Moxie” wants to be a feminist, inclusive rebel film. But it only barely makes it into the league of mediocre high school comedies.

Amy Poehler, an actress, comedian and part of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Ampas), which awards the Oscars every year, plays it safe in her latest piece of directing. It deals with everything that the socially sensitive heart desires in one fell swoop.
