The neglect and mistreatment of the injured Maichane provoke the ire of the populations of the Tindouf camps

Mohamed Lamine Maichane is a young 24-year-old Sahrawi who, like hundreds of his colleagues, has been used by the Polisario in suicidal operations around the protection wall.

During one of these operations, the young man, which the separatists used as cannon fodder, received shrapnel in the head and eyes. Exceeded by the negligence of which his son is the victim in addition to the lies and the broken promises of the Polisario leadership, the family of Mohamed Lamine as well as his cousins ​​decided to organize demonstrations in front of the alleged Prime Minister of the Polisario whose tenant had promised to personally take charge of this case. A promise that was only intended to put an end to the organized protest marches at the end of June. Sources inside the Tindouf camps indicated on Wednesday July 7 that the promises made by the Polisario leadership to Mohamed Lamine’s family were just a mirage.

And to add that these procrastination and this indifference pushed the family of the young man to demonstrate and protest in front of the Polisario headquarters in Rabouni, brandishing slogans denouncing the lies and the indifference of the leaders of the separatists. According to the demonstrators, the situation is subject to more tension and popular movements if it continues.
