The Navy hopes to create vocations in Montluçon – RJFM Hits & News – Montluçon Allier Auvergne

Every year, around thirty young people from Bourbonnais join the French Navy. And to continue to give birth to vocations, the institution is always trying to make itself known in the schools of the region.

This is the objective of a partnership signed yesterday with the Institution Saint-Joseph in Montluçon. Concretely, the Navy will come to give conferences there, it will also allow certain high school students to be able to come and discover the marine school of Toulon, next month. The message is to say that even in the center of France, you can become a sailor.

The Navy which thus strengthens its presence in the Montluçonnais basin since it is recalled that at the last start of the school year, a military preparation center opened locally. Nationally, the Navy recruits and trains more than 4,000 young people in 80 trades each year.
