These rumors are circulating in the background mass searches in the capital enterprises, which are actively criticized by the mayor of Kiev. Many experts call this the ending of a protracted conflict between the mayor of Kiev and the President’s Office.
When Klitschko can be removed
Experts suggest that a change of leadership in the capital’s state administration may occur in the near future – possibly before the Independence Day.
According to political scientist Vladimir Fesenko, the replacement of the head of the Kyiv City State Administration can be presented as a temporary measure to restore order in the municipal enterprises of the capital and cleansing from corruption, they say, the central government should immediately intervene in the situation.
“In my opinion, just now, a week before the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence, when a lot of international events will be held in Kiev, this whole conflict is absolutely unnecessary. Now is not the time and place to sort things out. Kiev and the central government should to hold all the events with dignity is the most important thing now. And then return to this issue and think about how to solve all the problems with utilities, and the tension in relations. As for me, both sides are very involved in this conflict. Problems can be solved differently. ” , – said Fesenko in the commentary “Today”.
Who will replace Klitschko
The site “Segodnya” appealed to the capital’s officials who know the situation from the inside. The mayor’s office is reluctant to talk about the possible appointment of a new head of the Kyiv City State Administration. They confirm that we can hear the decision of the authorities this week.

And now we see an increase in tension in relations between the Kiev and central authorities. But will this end with the replacement of the head of the Kyiv City State Administration? Theoretically, yes, it is possible. I do not exclude such a scenario. After all, the conflict is being played out for the third time. But not necessarily in September there will be a new head of the Kyiv City State Administration. It is possible, but not necessary. How Klitschko reacts
Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko said earlier that law enforcement officers with searches slow down the work of utilities. He believes that all the cases on which they came with verification are pressure on him and the local authorities.
“This is done with one goal – to discredit my reputation. And to create a basis so that, contrary to the Constitution, to appoint the head of the Kyiv City State Administration of the stranger, and not the one whom the people of Kiev have elected.”– added Klitschko.
In the capital, recently, the prosecutor’s office has conducted a series of searches in public utilities. The checks were held in “Spetszhilfond”, “Kievgorsveta”, “Kievavtodor”, “Kievzelenstroy”, as well as in the Kyiv City State Administration, etc.
