On October 26, Master Sergeant Khalikov Georgy Zhurovich was killed in the Joint Forces Operation zone while carrying out a combat mission. About it reported on the Facebook page of the Poltava Regional Territorial Center for Procurement and Social Support.

“Today, carrying out a combat mission, faithful to the military oath, as a result of the artillery shelling of Ukrainian positions by pro-Russian mercenaries, a Ukrainian soldier – Master Sergeant Khalikov Georgy Zhurovich was killed,” the publication points out.

Georgy Khalikov was born on March 24, 1970 in the village of Berezino, Tartu district, Odessa region. He lived in the Poltava region. Before the start of the Russian-Ukrainian war, he worked in law enforcement agencies.

The deceased soldier has three sons.
