– Human rights activists around the world oppose the untenable situation in which Palestinians find themselves, said Rødt representative Ylva Holm Torsteinson during the debate, writes Oslo newspaper.
Rødt proposed an annual flag day with Palestinian flags from Oslo City Hall, but failed to win a majority.
However, there was a majority in favor of flying the flag on November 29 this year, on the occasion of the United Nations International Day of Solidarity for the Palestinian People.
