The most difficult case in The Heir so far has a sad end

In the broadcast, Ruben looks for the living heirs of the Indonesian Mrs. Sikarti, but that seems easier said than done. In the Netherlands, the presenter and his team do not find any leads. So they decide to look further in Indonesia.

The search has a good reason, because Ms. Sikarti left a sum of 73,000 euros. However, things are not going smoothly in Indonesia either and there is a fear that no heirs can be found. Ruben decides to pull out all the stops once more and makes a successful appeal on television for the surviving descendants of Mrs. Sikarti.

Jo Heukeshoven saw Ruben’s call and decided to step outside. He is a cousin of the deceased woman. Although Jo is related to Mrs. Sikarti, Ruben has to bring him bad news. He is not entitled to the inheritance. Jaap, Mrs. Sikarti’s husband, died before his wife. “As a result, inheritance law will lapse on that side”, Ruben explains. “No sister or no brother. Then it really stops,” he sighs. “As awful as it is, because I’m just sitting next to Mrs. Sikarti’s family.”

The program is a true audience hit, and Ruben previously told all about this special project.

The Heir can be seen every Tuesday evening at 9.30 pm on RTL 4 and can look ahead at Videoland.
