– The most delicious in Norway in 2006

On Monday, the school “Kronstad oppveksttun” was opened in Bergen. One of the decorations at the new school are eight busts of eight famous people from Bergen.

The artists who made the busts and were responsible for the work are Markus Lantto and Per Kristian Nygård.

The selected people who hang on the school wall are Jan Eggum, Erna Solberg, Edvard Grieg, Vincent Lunge, Dorothe Engelbretsdatter, Myra, Anne Pedersdotter and Linn Andersen.

“Miss Norway” reaction

One name in particular on the list of well-known Bergens made theater reviewer Charlotte Myrbråten react.

In a Facebook post, she has come out strongly against the choice of Linn Andersen as one of the busts. She won the Miss Norway beauty contest in 2006.

– A lot of strange things in the selection here, yes, but who is Linn Andersen, you may be thinking? It’s Miss Norway in 2006, right? From Åsane.

“Schoolboy: Who is she there? Teacher: It is the most delicious in Norway in 2006”, writes Myrbråten on Facebook.

The post has been published as a comment in Bergens Tidende.

This is how Andersen answers

On Tuesday afternoon, Linn Andersen gave a reply to Myrbråten, where she makes it clear that she does not care about the criticism – and rather chooses to focus on the joy of actually being selected.

– I am proud that I was singled out, and happy for the opportunity to be involved in the project of two talented artists, writes Andersen to Dagbladet in a message.

– The purpose of the work is that this should be an introduction to and an opportunity to delve into Bergen’s history, of which I am also a part in my own way.

Furthermore, the 36-year-old says that she thinks it’s nice to contribute to wonder and discussion for the byst elections.

– This is one of the ideas behind the project, emphasizes Andersen.
