The Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs and Saudia Airlines have signed a cooperation agreement for the transportation of Indonesian pilgrims for the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Saudia Airlines will transport a total of 101,809 Indonesian Hajj pilgrims from five embarkation points. The Indonesian government has stated the need for more hospitable services from Saudia Airlines, especially for the more than 60,000 Indonesian Hajj pilgrims aged 65 and above who will be travelling this year. Furthermore, the Indonesian ambassador to Saudi Arabia has praised Saudia Airlines for providing the best services to customers, specifically Indonesian pilgrims. At least 221,000 Hajj pilgrims from Indonesia will join the Hajj pilgrimage this year.
