Riyadh: The Ministry of Health has clarified that isolation is not recommended for laboratory testing after receiving the corona virus vaccine or before receiving vaccine shots.
However, precautionary measures and prevention protocols must be followed to prevent the spread of the disease.
The ministry said the Pfizer-Biotech and Astrazeneka-Oxford vaccines approved by the Saudi Food and Drug Authority against the corona virus do not reduce or eliminate immunity.
Once infected with the corona, the risk of recurrence within 90 days of recovery is low. Therefore, vaccination for those who have recovered may be delayed for up to six months. Earlier, the National Council for Infectious Diseases had said that they should take only one dose.
