The Ministry of Health and Population said that mental health and addiction treatment services were provided through the “Recovery” program through treatment sessions during the patients’ rehabilitation period, ensuring the provision of a minimum level of expertise and therapeutic information that helps patients recover.
He added that a recovery path involves the introduction of the skills of the therapeutic culture, and the modification of the behaviors necessary for a coexistence without drugs, confirming the offer of a range of services, activities, training and awareness in the field of addiction treatment , which contributes to the integration of patients into society after the completion of the treatment program.
He said the Secretariat is working to provide community patient care, which includes psychological rehabilitation services, aftercare and relapse prevention services, as well as occupational rehabilitation (occupational therapy) and physical rehabilitation (sports therapy).
