Indeed, this national campaign of cleaning and maintenance will include educational establishments which require an urgent intervention. Moreover, this national campaign targets, in a first step, two educational establishments in each municipality. To spread, then, within the framework of periodic cleaning campaigns in the rest of the educational establishments on a Sunday of each month.

Ben Ayed said the ministry is working to generalize these campaigns to all educational institutions. This is within the framework of a national program implemented by the Ministry of Education in partnership with civil society and the private sector and under the supervision of governors, delegates and mayors. It calls for concerted efforts to clean and beautify educational establishments. And this with the participation of students, their parents and former students.

Towards partnerships with private companies.

Indeed, she indicated that the Ministry of Education plans, during 2021, to sign partnership agreements with private companies. The companies aim to undertake, maintain and equip educational establishments. In addition, the Ministry will supervise the supervision of intervention operations so as not to interfere with the normal course of lessons and while ensuring respect for the inviolability of schools.

Indeed, Ben Ayed, in this context, urged civil society and the private sector to accelerate the provision of in-kind aid (blankets, mattresses, solar panels) for the benefit of the school works office.
