“I would not talk about Ukraine as a threat. I believe that the Ukrainian people are a fraternal people. These are not only our neighbors, we are one people. Here I don’t even want to talk and reflect on this topic,” he said.
Shoigu hopes that someday the situation in Ukraine will change.
“We believe and hope that this situation will someday change and there will be a person who will stop all this nationalistic bacchanalia, completely unfounded either historically or factually, absolutely nothing,” the Russian Defense Minister said.
