JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Minister of Trade Agus Suparmanto removed Mayora Group’s 4,000 export containers for the June 2020 period at the Mayora Group Factory site, Cikupa, Tangerang Regency, Banten. The total export value is equivalent to Rp 1.07 trillion.

“With the release of Mayora Group’s 4,000 containers in the June 2020 period with a value of Rp 1.07 trillion, it is hoped that Indonesian food and beverage products will increasingly exist and be known, not only on the domestic scene but also throughout the world and can be followed by other business actors in Indonesia,” he said. The Trade Minister through the release information on Tuesday (6/30/2020).

The Trade Minister said, with the release of the 4,000th export container, during January-June 2020, Mayora Group had exported 17,000 containers.

In addition, Agus Suparmanto also expressed his pride for several Mayora products, such as Torabika and Kopiko. Because it has achieved extraordinary achievements in other countries.

In fact, the Minister of Trade continued, Kopiko candy is the most popular product in the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, India, Africa and the Middle East, to the United States. Mayora’s packaged coffee products are also the market leader in the Philippines with a market share of 46 percent.

Meanwhile, Mayora Group President Director Andre Sukendra Atmadja said, Mayora Group is committed to developing Indonesia’s economy, both through domestic business and contributing to exports using the Indonesian brand.

“The release of these export containers is a tangible manifestation of Mayora’s commitment in advancing the Indonesian economy through export activities, as well as a form of Mayora Group’s support and participation in the Proudly Made Indonesia Movement,” said Andre.

According to Andre, Mayora products such as Torabika, Kopiko, Beng Beng, and Danisa were not only successfully exported, but were able to become market leaders in various countries.

He considered, the achievements currently achieved are expected to inspire and make Mayora Group even more proud and confident that Indonesian-made products have succeeded in penetrating the world market.

“This shows that exports of processed food products from Mayora are still able to compete in the global market so that it can indirectly protect the Indonesian economy,” he said.
