The Medium: PC configurations of the horror game revealed – news

Bloober Team (Observer, Layers of Fear, Blair Witch …) has launched pre-orders for its next game, The Medium, following its presentation at the Xbox Games Showcase. The developers also took the opportunity to detail the “minimum” and “recommended” configurations on PC.

With The Medium, Bloober Team intends to offer “a truly unique experience” by relying in particular on “double reality” gameplay. During certain sequences, you will have to explore the physical world and the spirit world at the same time and use the interactions between them to solve puzzles, unlock new passages or even awaken memories of past events. Both worlds will be “calculated and displayed simultaneously with no visible load times”, as shown in the trailer below. A concept that the studio “wanted to use for years”, but which was until now “impossible because of the technical limitations” of current consoles. On PC, here are the configurations required to enjoy the title, scheduled for the end of 2020. It costs around forty euros to purchase, knowing that it will join the Xbox Game Pass catalog as soon as it is launched and that it will also be released on Xbox Series X.
