The mayoral candidate of PP-DB and “Save Sofia” for the capital, Vasil Terziev, has sold his company “Telerik” to the American company “Progress”, whose largest shareholder is the investment fund “Blackrock”. This is shown by data in Yahoo Finance, reported Bulletin.bg.
BlackRock is the largest investment fund in the world with assets worth $9 trillion. It is called the “shadow government” that runs the world, because of the fabulous value of its assets and its active interference in guiding the corporate policy of companies. The owner of the fund, Larry Fink, is known for having created the financial instrument that led to the financial crisis of 2007. After the crisis, it was Blackrock that was tasked by the government with handling hundreds of billions to save troubled banks and funds. After the covid pandemic, Blackrock was once again tasked by the government to use US taxpayer funds to “rescue” companies – many of which Blackrock already owns.
Blackrock is also known for something else: for years it has required the companies it manages to fund initiatives supporting the LGBT community.
The American company Progress is, of course, present today among the main donors of Sofia Pride 2023, the event in support of the LGBT community.
PP-DB and “Save Sofia” are also known for their support for the LGBT community, and Terziev himself is mostly sidelined for the time being. But he said that Sofia needs pride, and “Lukovmarsh” should be banned. DB councilor Ivo Hristov used as his main argument against Vili Lilkov, Terziev’s rival for mayor of Sofia, that he is a “hard anti-gay parade”. The representatives of “Democratic Bulgaria” in the Capital Municipal Council also called on “free-thinking citizens” to join Sofia Pride, which, according to them, should be supported by every civilized person.
According to Terziev’s LinkedIn page, he worked at the company and after “Progress” bought it – he was the Chief Innovation Officer from 2014 to 2017.
Today, Terziev is involved in dozens of companies as an investor and director.
Another important detail: Today, Blackrock is among the main firms that will lead the $411 billion needed to rebuild Ukraine after the war, much of which the US, the European Union and international financial institutions have already pledged.
