A Vaol according to reports, Ferenc Gyurcsány and András Nemény discussed the candidacy of the mayor of Szombathely, but it seems that the mayor did not take kindly to the article about it. In response to their inquiry, András Nemény took sides again and mentioned the payment of damages, which he spends on charity, stating at the same time: “
Contrary to the claims of Vas Népe, Ferenc Gyurcsány did not visit the mayor’s office in April and I did not negotiate with him in the past period either.

From all this, it has not yet been officially revealed how and thanks to which left-wing politicians in Szombathely received the statement of support of Ferenc Gyurcsány, the president of the DK at the time.
On the other hand, the mayor wrote: Let’s Live Szombathely! He will run alone and without party logos in the 2024 municipal elections, and we plan to present the candidates later”.
At the same time, András Nemény said in his answer: “After the election, the general assembly will decide on the officials, and in the event of an individual victory by Csaba Czeglédy, he will continue his work as the chairman of the social committee. We are doing our job, we are working for Szombathely!” – the politician concluded his announcement.
They also asked whether the left-wing mayoral candidate will participate in the May 8th event of the shadow government of Ferenc Gyurcsány’s wife, Klára Dobrev, but they have not yet received an answer.
