The people were in the building of the former power plant in the Libušín Mine quite legally. According to witnesses, there was a planned tour of the premises, which should serve as a kind of amusement park.

“According to initial information from the site, the man was supposed to go for the tape where the floor collapsed with him. The whole situation is being dealt with by the police on the spot, ”police spokeswoman Petra Potočná told Novinka.

Rescuers had to provide the seriously injured man with intensive medical care, then an ambulance transported him to the helicopter. In addition to them and the police, firefighters also set out.

“At the time of our arrival, the man was already in the care of rescuers, so we helped with his transport from the ambulance to the helicopter,” said firefighter spokesman Petr Svoboda.

The helicopter crew then transported the man to the Central Military Hospital in Střešovice.
