The lottery wheel at the raffle for the Beverung Christmas game was not as full as last year. The reason: The main prize was a brand new car. Now Beverungen Marketing wants to build on this success and is raffling off another car, more precisely a Ford Puma, Cool & Connect in frost white, hybrid crossover SUV, 125 PS, with six-speed manual transmission, windscreen and steering wheel heating, air conditioning, hands-free system , Park Pilot System and much more, a new car worth 24,000 euros.
Membership fees have become free
“This is made possible because membership fees have become free due to the cancellation of the flower festival and St. Martin’s Day,” said Marketing Director Rembert Stiewe at the presentation of the main prize at the Menger car dealership. Its managing director Michael Disse was pleased to be able to provide the main prize again. “Getting a new car is not that easy at the moment, we are also concerned with the semiconductor problem, and production is sometimes at a standstill,” he explained. Ultimately, a dealer from Halle helped out and made the car available. “The past year has shown how good the response was, we had more tickets than ever before, despite the lockdown. We would like to build on this success and thus support the retail trade ”, says Rembert Stiewe.
Raffle on December 23rd on the Rathausplatz
Tokens and trading cards for the Christmas game will be issued in the 44 participating member companies from Friday, November 12th. The raffle is planned for Thursday, December 23, from 6 p.m. – with a beer and sausage stand and Christmas music on the town hall square. This is exactly where the Ford Puma can be admired from Friday. It is also presented in an entertaining video that can be seen on the Facebook page of the city of Beverungen and the Autohaus Menger.
In addition to the car, there are 37 other prizes, including an Apple I-Pad Pro worth 1200 euros as a second prize (donation from Woide Immobilien GmbH) and other attractive prizes and vouchers, all of which were provided by member companies. “You can already say that there is no such attractive Christmas game in a wide area as here in Beverungen. This also shows how broad the range of products and services offered by the Beverung shops is, ”said Rembert Stiewe. Mayor Hubertus Grimm also hopes that the attractive Christmas game will give the retail trade and our inner city a boost. The trading cards can be handed in to Beverungen Marketing or member companies until the raffle.
Advent calendar only for children
Parallel to the Christmas game, the children’s advent calendar will also start on Friday, November 12th. Children up to the age of twelve can pick up participation cards from Citykauf, Schübeler, Lesbar, TUI-Reisecenter or Loepp Optic, look for the items shown on them in shop windows and connect them to the shop’s logo and then put them in the lucky box in the service center by November 30th throw. From December 1st, one of 24 prizes will be raffled every day and the winners will be informed.
