A reduced version of the Statue of Liberty was delivered by boat from Paris. Now in New York (United States), the aftershock was greeted with emotion before reaching Washington soon.

It’s a rather special delivery that took place in New York (United States), Thursday, July 1. Within a container, a miniature version of the famous Statue of Liberty has just arrived safely. The trip had started a month earlier in Paris, where the little bronze sister taken from the original mold, imagined by Auguste Bartholdi, was being maintained. The precious replica was therefore loaned to the United States.
Once arrived in New York, this other version of the Statue of Liberty was greeted by some residents moved to be able to contemplate it. A woman present on the spot confides having goose bumps. In duplex from New York, the journalist France Télévisions Anne-Claire Poignard announces that “the little sister of the Statue of Liberty will remain on display for a few days here, in New York, before reaching Washington, the final stop on this journey through history.”
