Stamatis Fasoulis: “Anna was the man of my dreams” (Video) – 2024-05-07 04:41:32

Stamatis Fasoulis spoke to ERT about Anna Panagiotopoulou, who passed away on Holy Saturday.

He talked about the years when they were fellow students and together founded the “Free Theater” in the middle of the junta – the “Free Theater” was more of an alternative (“underground” in the context of the time) group and less of a troupe of professional standards. And yet, with this very troupe, these people, including Panagiotopoulou, changed the course of theater history in our country by renewing the tired genre of revue: “Anna and I met at the Drama School. From the first moment, we felt like we have been friends for many years. We kind of put things in their place, at the Ethnikos school, because until then the third-year students didn’t talk to the second-year students and the second-year students didn’t talk to the first-year students.”

“Everything attracted me to Anna, she was the person of my life. What I was looking for, I found in her, she is half my life and half my body. They are people you always carry inside you, no matter what. There is no lack, as long as it lives inside you”, said Stamatis Fasoulis.

“It’s a little wild when you realize it, but then this person grows back inside you,” said an obviously moved Stamatis Fasoulis.

“Anna and I met at the Drama School. From the first moment, we felt like we have been friends for many years. We kind of put things in their place, at the Ethnikos school, because until then the third-year students didn’t talk to the second-year students and the second-year students didn’t talk to the first-year students.
