This device is said to be the lightest 16-inch laptop in the world, weighing only 1.1 kg. Therefore, it is suitable for supporting the activities of mobile workers.

The Acer Swift Edge’s bezel is very thin, hence the Swift ‘Edge’ name, meaning the screen has an “edge to edge” range, Acer said.
Usually 16-inch laptops tend to be quite heavy and are intended for content creators and gamers.
However, this flagship laptop from the Acer Swift family is here for mobile workers who want a large screen laptop with a lightweight size.
Although the screen has an unusual size (which business-class laptops usually offer a 13-inch or 14-inch size), the design of this 16-inch laptop resembles the size of a 14 or 15-inch laptop. In fact, this laptop fits easily into a full-sized backpack.

Although the screen does not use an anti-reflective coating, but since it has a fairly high brightness (500 nits) so there is no interference from ambient lighting reflections.
Of course, this screen has a very large field of view, so colors don’t fade even when viewed from the side.
The resolution of this screen is 4K (3,840 x 2,400 pixels). Therefore, according to Acer, it will have a high pixel density even if the screen is large.
There is also a TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe certification which is helpful in reducing blue light exposure for eye health.
Acer said that thanks to the certification, the quality of the color accuracy will still be high even if the blue light on the screen will be reduced.
Speaking of color accuracy, the Acer Swift Edge has a DCI-P3 color gamut of up to 100%. While the contrast ratio it has is 1,000,000: 1, which Acer calls True Black technology.

Bodi dari laptop ini terbuat dari material magnesium-aluminium. Acer menyatakan bahwa bahan ini lebih ringan 12% dan 2 kali lebih kuat jika dibandingkan dengan bahan alumunium biasa.
Seperti pada laptop kebanyakan, Swift Edge memiliki pijakan yang terbuat dari karet. Namun entah kenapa pijakan kaki pada laptop terbaru dari Acer ini agak terasa licin.
Dengan bobot hanya 1,1 kg, laptop 16 inci ini sangat mudah diangkat meskipun hanya menggunakan satu tangan. Cara membuka tutup laptop ini pun sangat praktis karena hanya membutuhkan satu tangan tanpa again bawah terangkat.
Pada bagian sisi kanan laptop saya melihat port audio 3,5 mm, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A. Sedangkan pada sisi kiri laptop terdapat port 2 USB Type-C , USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A, dan HDMI 2.1.
Port ini terbilang lengkap dan cocok untuk menghubungkan perangkat untuk pendukung bisnis. Touchpad Swift Edge memiliki ukuran yang cukup besar. Acer menyatakan bagian ini dilengkapi dengan fitur bacterial sehingga aman digunakan.
Prosesor laptop Acer Swift Edge adalah AMD Ryzen 5 6600U yang dipadukan dengan RAM LPDDR5 16 GB Dual Channel. Saat menjalankan Cinebench R20 pada laptop tersebut, dan ia berhasil mendapatkan angka 3.132 poin.
Sebagai catatan, saat menjalankan benchmark ini ketika laptop menggunakan baterai sumber dayanya. Oleh karena itu mungkin hasilnya akan berbeda ketika laptop dihubungkan ke sumber listrik langsung.
Acer mengatakan bahwa laptop OLED Swift Edge sudah tersedia di Indonesia pada bulan Oktober ini. Harga dari perangkat tersebut dimulai dari Rp 19.999.000.
