Police teams started an operation to catch the murder suspect of Sezai Katmer (45), whose body has not been heard for about 4 months and whose body was found in the septic pit in his olive garden.
As a result of the follow-up, the teams wanted to stop the car with 77 T 0079 plate in Kumla District of Gemlik district. The driver of the car, who did not obey the “stop” warning, was caught after the chase.
In the examination of the teams, it was determined that the driver of the car was Erkan Kuşoğlu (52), who was the suspect in the murder of Sezai Katmer.
The operations of Kuşoğlu, who has been taken into custody, at the Police Headquarters continue.
HISTORY OF THE EVENT
During the search for Sezai Katmer, who disappeared on 12 August, Orhangazi Police Department Public Security Bureau teams noticed that there was a dead body in the septic pit, and it was determined that the body whose hands and feet were tied up by AFAD teams and construction equipment belonged to Katmer.
