The artistic director of the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra, conductor Guntis Kuzma, has chosen light and sparkling music from the golden repertoire of American jazz classics George Gershwin, Leonard Bernstein and Cole Porter for the concert program. The concert will feature both instrumental fragments and many popular songs from various Broadway musicals and beyond by Gershwin Fascinating paceBernsteina I feel nice or Portera I love Paris and many other favorite songs of the decades.
Together with the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra under the guidance of the conductor Guntas Kuzmas Great Amber This evening Beate Zviedre will take the stage, a singer with a soft and nuanced voice, a wide range and a versatile musical experience, formed in both jazz and academic singing.
Beata Zviedre, who was nominated for the Big Music Award 2020 in the category Young artist of the yearsings in a vocal group since 2010 Framest and performs as a soloist in various projects.
