Ryan Jombang |, the death row inmate for the mutilation case was bombed by Habib Bahar bin Smith in prison. The dispute between the two is now a long one.
Ryan’s lawyer, Jombang Kasman Sangaji said Ryan Jombang was punched by Habib Bahar at the Gunung Sindur Prison, West Java. Kasman explained that the alleged abuse that befell his client was triggered by money problems. Habib Bahar is said to have often borrowed money from Ryan Jombang up to a total of Rp. 10 million.
“The borrowing is sometimes replaced and sometimes not, it’s just that I borrowed it when Ryan asked not to be given. When Ryan (asked for) not to be given, he (Ryan) saw the money on the table. Because Ryan was annoyed to collect but he had the money Ryan finally took the money wrapped in plastic and thrown in the trash,” he said, Kasman told detikcom, Wednesday (18/8/2021).
After that, said Kasman, Habib Bahar was angry. However, Ryan Jombang’s position at that time was silent because he felt guilty for throwing the money away. Even Ryan has apologized to Habib Bahar.
But suddenly after leaving the mosque, Habib Bahar intercepted Ryan Jombang. Habib Bahar immediately punched Ryan. As a result, Ryan was injured. Ryan Jombang’s party also plans to process the case legally.
“Indeed, I saw that my client was digitized, he was bleeding and I still wanted to supply medicine, I was disappointed and angry. But I still put the law first,” Kasman said, Thursday (19/8/2021).
Kasman said the legal process in question is to make a police report. Kasman said his party plans to report Bahar to the police.
“We have a plan for a report, we are still compiling and seeing what kind of accurate evidence is, but so far if there is good faith from Habib Bahar, that’s fine,” he said.
Meanwhile, Habib Bahar bin Smith’s attorney, Aziz Yanuar, said that the problems between Habib Bahar and Ryan Jombang had been resolved. Aziz said the beating incident was just a misunderstanding.
“When asked chronologically, I don’t want to answer, basically I just said that it was just a misunderstanding, then there were problems, there were chaos like that, there were problems between Habib Bahar and Ryan,” said Aziz.
Aziz said both sides had agreed for peace. He asked that this issue not be extended.
“But in principle this has been completed. So I want to say that there was a problem between Habib Bahar and Ryan a little, then the problem was resolved, it was peaceful. people,” said Aziz.
