The left defender Bartošák strengthened with Karviná

Karviná players gained another reinforcement. After eight years, the left defender Lukáš Bartošák, whose contract expired in Zlín, returned to the Silesian Premier League club. Thirty-year-old Bek signed a one-year contract with Karviná.

Bartošák worked in Karviná in the 2011/12 season, then left for Viktoria Žižkov. Subsequently, he played for Liberec and Zlín. In the Czech league, he has 106 matches and four goals scored, he also scored one start for the national team.

“During the meeting with Lukáš, we bet that he knew the local environment, because he had worked at the club in the past. It is a similar case as the successful transfer of Tomáš Jursa over the weekend. We are glad that Lukáš nodded at our offer and I hope that will help in the new season, “ stated for the club website the sports director of MFK Karviná Lubomír Vlk.

“Karviná’s direct reaction and a great agreement made me come back. I would like to help Karviná to the quiet center of the table, so that we just don’t have any problems with rescue,” added Bartošák.
