Dr. Raji Tawadros, Director of Health Affairs in Qena, announced the launch of the presidential initiative, Mother and Fetal Health, which is part of the presidential initiative “100 Million Health”, which targets pregnant women from the first day of pregnancy until birth, with the aim of early detection of many diseases. The most important of these are human immunodeficiency virus, hepatitis B, and syphilis.
He explained that the initiative will take place from tomorrow in 150 health units distributed at the governorate level to check and check on pregnant women in the period from 9 to 2 pm daily, and the analysis for the women is done by a nurse by taking one blood sample from the pregnant woman
Tawadros called on pregnant women in the governorate to go to the concerned health units for free examination and analysis to check on them
