After the release of The Last of Us, Naughty Dog released a small expansion for the game called Left Behind. This expansion told Ellie’s story prior to the adventure, as well as what happened after Joel’s accident that left him seriously injured.
Now that The Last of Us: Part II is out, it is a logical question whether that game will also be expanded. There are several stories to tell about the factions, Tommy and other characters, but that is not planned.
In the spoilercast Kinda Funny asked Neil Druckmann to request additional content and he said that they will not create additional content. He made this clear in a short and succinct way: “There are no plans for DLC.”
