The Last of Us Part II – A Realistic mode and a “Permanent Death” option on the way – News

If you think you’ve taken the tour of Ellie’s New Adventures, you’ve got it all wrong. Indeed, it looks like The Last of Us Part II will welcome a brand new update in the coming days.

It was while observing the obtaining of his Platinum that our friend Antistar discovered some surprising news. The list of trophies The Last of Us Part II has been quietly updated by Naughty Dog to add a whole new category. The latter called “Realistic Mode” offers players to win two new trophies starting with having to complete the story of the game in Realistic mode, an additional difficulty allowing to add a little spice to your many clashes. But that’s not all … Indeed, for its part, the second trophy indicates the arrival of an additional parameter and oh so punitive! This is obviously a “Permanent Death” option which allows players to end the game with one and only one life.

For now, we have no idea when this new update will arrive, but it should be soon and should add a few more difficulty spikes for players looking to push their limits.

Obviously, you won’t need to get these two new trophies to get the in-game Platinum. However, if you don’t complete these new goals, your score will be 95% instead of 100%. To help you get the Platinum, we suggest you watch the game’s Trophies Guide again by clicking here.
