The plot of The Last of Us 2 is one of the elements of production that effectively divided the players, some of them prompting for a new initiative. A petition was created in which interested parties ask for a “remake of history.” Naughty Dog probably won’t react, but the determination of some fans of the universe is surprising.

To say that The Last of Us Part II has divided players is like saying nothing. A lot of controversy has already arisen around the latest Naughty Dog title – from presenting surprising twists, moving the subject outrageous to many players, or presenting violent scenes.
Some fans of the first installment of the naughty Naughty Dog game could not come to terms with the sequel’s script, which is why the game has met with bombing reviews on Metacritic. Now we can talk about another initiative. A change has been made on the change.org site to the creators in which interested parties ask for „remake historii” The Last of Us 2. Currently, more than 11,000 players are interested in the idea.
Given the huge sales (is the premiere on PS4 which is the most popular so far) we cannot expect the petition to have the expected effect – although who knows how developers will respond to this? However, it must be admitted that the new The Last of Us arouses a lot of emotions, and in the case of the described petition shows the huge determination of part of the players’ environment.
Naughty Dog is already seriously considering preparing The Last of Us 3: in a recent message, Neil Druckmann confirmed that his team must provide a solid foundation so that work on the title can start.
