LASK presented two approaches with the Danish Mads Emil Madsen and the French Mamoudou Karamoko. The central midfielder Madsen comes to Linz from his home town of Silkeborg IF, Karamoko stormed last season for the second team of the German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg.
In the German upper house, the 1.88 m man was on a mission.
According to media reports, the athletes should transfer 1.6 million euros for Silkeborg captain Madsen. The 23-year-old could in future replace Peter Michorl, who no longer wants to extend his contract with the LASK, which only runs for one year. Denmark’s U21 team players, like 20-year-old Karamoko, signed a contract with the Upper Austrians until summer 2024.
Two loan contracts expire
