The rejuvenated Kia Stinger has gone through a very decent rejuvenation, which promises, for example, better materials, new colors or improved infotainment.

But let’s start traditionally with the exterior, where not much has changed. Looking at the bow, we can notice the modified radiator grilles in the well-known “Tiger nose” style, which is lined with modified LED headlights with a redesigned daylight lighting signature. Thanks to the light dimming and reworked shapes, the headlights should give the car a more modern look.

However, the lights were also manipulated at the rear, where the changes are even more pronounced. The rear light signature has changed significantly, mainly thanks to the uniform brake lights, which are connected by a light bar copying the shape of the integrated spoiler. Also new are the rear turn signals, which received 10 LED segments in the shape of a checkerboard flag – used in the world of motorsport.
In addition, those interested in the more powerful Stinger GT can look forward to optional larger exhaust tailpipes with a distinctly silver finish and a more pronounced diffuser in the rear bumper, which underlines the sporty character of the car.

New aluminum wheels with a diameter of 18 or 19 inches can also be moved into the wheel arches, and we should also see an expanded painting offer on a number of markets. In some markets, the model will also be available with the so-called Dark Package, which will bring a glossy black lacquered rear diffuser, exhaust tailpipes and rear markings.
However, more significant changes were to take place in the cabin, which is now dominated by the 10.25-inch infotainment touch screen. The carmaker also mentions the use of higher quality materials, which should underline the impression of luxury and sportiness in the cabin. In addition, the ambient lighting has been modified, which will now offer up to 64 shades.

Depending on the equipment, customers will receive, for example, a dashboard and door panels with contrast stitching, while the center console offers a choice of aluminum or carbon decor. The rearview mirror was given a frameless design and the lower part of the steering wheel was given a chrome decor that follows the chrome frame around a 7.0-inch digital instrument panel.
Depending on the point of sale, the new Kia Stinger for model year 2021 will be available with several interior packages in many colors, and Nappa leather upholstery will also be present. In addition, however, a choice between genuine or synthetic leather also appears in the menu.

No changes have been mentioned under the hood so far, but according to previous behind-the-scenes information, a 2.5-liter supercharged four-cylinder with over 300 horsepower and a 3.5-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder fork from the Genesis G80 model could appear under the hood, with a power output of around 375. horses.
The rejuvenated Kia Stinger will start selling on its domestic market during the third quarter of this year, but we will have to wait for its arrival in other countries. In the domestic market, Kia will use a logo resembling the letter “E”, which we can see in the photos. In the rest of the world, however, the use of the already modernized logo of the carmaker is expected.
