A music and art festival will take place in Daugavgriva Fortress on Saturday, August 15 Comet this summer’s final accompanying event – Comet dances. From 12.00 local DJs will perform at the event, dance master classes and a performance will take place, as well as in the dungeons of the fortress there will be an opportunity to see various exhibitions related to movement and body, the organizers inform.
This summer festival Comet Four events were organized in Daugavgriva Fortress – a festival Comet from 31 July to 2 August, Comet Academy July 25 Community Day On August 8, and Comet danceswhich will take place on August 15. Additional events of the festival were organized, continuing the idea of the long-term goal of the festival – to revive the Daugavgrīva fortress and the adjacent neighborhoods as a place of culture and thinking. All additional events organized by the festival are free of charge, including Comet dances.
Community dances the program will start at. 12.00 and will end at 23.30.

The Comet Festival is a unique open-air festival – a social and cultural experiment lasting three days. The festival invites you to practice your freedom of mind, listen to lectures and participate in workshops, dance and enjoy music. This year the festival is taking place for the fifth year.
