Dusan Vlahovic has been out of the Juventus squad for a long time due to injury. On Tuesday, he flashed for the first time since returning. He scored two goals, assisted and helped in a 3-0 win over Salernitana. Wojciech Szczęsny and Krzysztof Piątek were on the pitch.

The 15 negative points made the league not a priority for Juventus. It will be difficult for the Bianconeri to get to the places rewarded with promotion to European cups, and saving the season is still possible in the Europa League and the Coppa Italia. This does not mean, however, that the Old Lady is not trying to reduce losses – another chance to do so was in the closing match against Salernitana.

The home team included Krzysztof Piątek, and Davide Nicola opted for an offensive line-up with two strikers. In a duet with a Pole, he went to the Boulaye Dia pitch. Piątek could not face Arkadiusz Milik on the pitch, because the Juventus player was eliminated by an injury. However, he had the opportunity to score another goal against Wojciech Szczęsny, whom he had already defeated in the colors of Milan and Salernitana.

Juventus proved to be smarter in a match that lacked shots on target early on. Dusan Vlahović scored a 1-0 lead for the Bianconeri in the 26th minute. The Serbian took the penalty kick for Hans Nicolussi’s foul on Fabio Miretti. Dusan Vlahović remembered himself with a goal, although Guillermo Ochoa rushed in the right direction and almost parried the ball to the side. However, this one fell into the net after bouncing off the post.

In the 31st minute, Salernitana tried to respond, and Krzysztof Piątek wanted to use Antonio Candreva’s cross. Wojciech Szczęsny did not allow it and punched the ball after ramming a slightly confused Bremer. It was Szczęsny’s most difficult intervention in the first half, as the rivals failed to check him with a shot on target.

In the 45th minute, Juventus increased their lead to 2:0. The Serbian scored again. Filip Kostić was in the right place at the right time. The ball was lucky for him after a dirty strike from Dusan Vlahovic. The situation could not be saved by Guillermo Ochoi, which made the hosts’ situation difficult. Vlahović, on the other hand, had a goal and an unusual assist on his account.

The Juve striker was not going to stop, this match belonged to him. Dusan Vlahović scored another goal to make it 3-0 in the 47th minute. He didn’t think long about how to end the action, which was a consequence of the loss of Hans Nicolussi. The ball went to the Serb after a pass by Nicolo Fagioli, who beat Guillermo Ochoa with a shot without reception towards the far post.

Salernitana even played with three strikers, because Krzysztof Piątek and Boulaye Dia were joined by Federico Bonazzoli. It didn’t help much, and Wojciech Szczęsny did not struggle with difficult exams. In the 71st minute, Piatek left the pitch and his substitute was Domen Crnigoj. In turn, Szczęsny soon enjoyed his 10th clean sheet in the Serie A season.

The worst news for the Turin team was the injury of Fabio Miretti, who left the field on a stretcher in the first half. Tears welled up in the young midfielder’s eyes, and he’s likely to take a break.
