Chief Justice, Ahmad Suhel, admitted that he was surprised because of the ex-Propam division chief Polri Freddy Sambo do not hold identity cards (KTP). The judge also asked if it was part of the investigator’s forfeiture.
This happened when Sambo was a witness of the defendant, the former Karo Paminal Propam Polri, Hendra Kurniawan, the former Kaden A Ropaminal Kombes Agus Nurpatria Adi and the former Wakaden B Bureaupaminal Divpropam Polri AKBP Arif Rahman Arifin regarding the case of obstruction in the investigation into the murder of Brigadier Yosua in South Jakarta District Court, Thursday (5/1/2023).
At first, before the trial began, the judge verified Sambo’s identity. The judge asked Sambo to show the KTP of him.
“Do you have ID?” Judge Suhel asked.
“Nothing, Your Majesty,” Sambo replied.
Sambo admitted he had not held a KTP since being questioned by investigators. The judge also asked if Sambo’s KTP had also been confiscated.
“Where is it?” Judge Suhel asked.
“At the time of the investigators I didn’t keep it anymore,” said Sambo.
“OhWhat’s the matter with the KTP, how come you were detained?” Judge Suhel asked.
Sambo remained silent and stated that he had not possessed an identity card since being questioned by investigators. The judge then examined and compared Sambo’s identity in the investigation report (BAP).
“We haven’t kept files since we were detained, Your Honor,” Sambo replied.
“That’s an ID card, is that the part that was confiscated?” Judge Suhel asked.
“No, Your Majesty,” Sambo replied.
«Yes, because to verify the identity of this real brother, yes. Both on record aja We match that, your identity, yes,” Judge Suhel said.
