The Jet 2 investment fund acquired the remaining stake in the cogeneration producer Tedom

Jet Investment carried out the transaction through its fund of qualified investors Jet 2. Thanks to the transaction, the company of entrepreneur Igor Fait will become the sole owner of the group producing gas cogeneration units and operating thermal energy sources with an annual turnover of less than four billion crowns.

In recent weeks, Tedom has plagued a shareholder dispute. The company’s founder Josef Jeleček and long-time director of the energy division Ivo Poukar sold their shares to the Jet 2 fund last year, and it suddenly became the majority owner of Tedom. This spring, the transaction was challenged in court by businessman Marek Rosenbaum, who has so far represented the minority shareholder Moufleco holdings limited. He claimed that the transaction violated the agreements and articles of association of the company – he allegedly had a pre-emptive right to the share.

According to the new owner, these disputes are now coming to an end. “The transaction ended the shareholder disagreement and settled all previous disputes,” said Jet Investment spokeswoman Magdaléna Selingerová. The parties did not want to comment on the value of the transaction.

“We will now be able to focus fully on the development of Tedom. This step also definitively ends the shareholder disagreement, when all existing disputes have been settled. As the sole shareholder, we will have opportunities for further investments and paths to new acquisitions, “comments the Fait store.

Rosenbaum also indirectly confirmed the transaction. “I know about it, but I didn’t negotiate with Jet. So I don’t know the conditions, “he said.

Tedom's number one manufacturer of mini-thermal plants is growing at a double-digit rate. It suits the energy direction of the union

Tedom also announced the sale of a close minority stake in ČEZ Energo, which will be acquired by the current co-owner of ČEZ ESCO.

The Tedom group in Třebíč has about 900 employees, and its EBITDA last year reached 450 million crowns. Since 2016, its subsidiary is the German company Tedom Schnell, a leading supplier of cogeneration units and service services for biogas plants in Germany. Tedom also operates energy sources at municipal waste landfills and has an extensive service network. It exports its equipment to more than 40 countries.

Over the last four years, Jet Investment has raised private capital for investment purposes in the amount of 7.3 billion crowns. It currently manages the industrial companies PBS Indiustry Group, Hoeckle Poldi Group, Composite Group and 2 JCP through the Jet 1 and Jet 2 funds. It employs 1,840 people in its companies.
