YOGYAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV– The Muhammadiyah Central Leadership has spoken out over clashes at the Jerusalem Al Aqsa Mosque compound between Israeli police and Palestinians.

PP Muhammadiyah Chairman Haedar Nashir criticized the incident that occurred when Palestinian Muslims were fasting and worshiping in the month of Ramadan.

He strongly called for an end to all forms of violence, atrocities, and deportations against Palestinians.

“The United Nations and all countries in the international world should act firmly against all forms of Israeli arbitrariness, and must not protect them,” said Haedar Nashir in a press release on Sunday (09/05/2021).

Likewise Indonesia as an independent country and upholds world peace and order. Haedar hopes that Indonesia will consistently defend Palestine and condemn all forms of arbitrariness by Israel or any other country against the Palestinian people.
