The IRC holds thematic workshops on the economic recovery of Casablanca-Settat

The Casablanca-Settat Regional Investment Center recently held thematic workshops to discuss the revival of this territory, as part of the work of the Regional Economic Watch Committee.

Lhe CRVE is a think tank and a source of proposals, created under the impetus and chairmanship of the Wali of the region, which aims to propose and deploy realistic and achievable measures to come to the aid of the most affected sectors. by the health crisis, explains the press release.

About eight sectoral commissions have been set up to call on collective intelligence, but also to reflect on actions to be deployed in the short and medium term, aimed at regional economic recovery under the best conditions.

These are the following sectors: Tourism, crafts and social and solidarity economy, industry, commerce, creative and cultural industries, agriculture and fishing, construction and incentives, promotion and development of investments.

These workshops are part of the contribution of a wide range of local actors, whose role is to reflect, analyze and design ideas and tools responding to the different challenges and requirements of the region.

The CRI relied on these workshops to synthesize and structure all the responses and recommendations of the eight working groups, while involving analysts and specialists in the field.

The summary of the reflections carried out during the work of the groups is returned to the Regional Economic Watch Committee, which, after an in-depth analysis and consultation with the various stakeholders, should lead to the update of the recommendations necessary for the revival of the weakest sectors. most affected by the crisis.
