KONTAN.CO.ID -JAKARTA. The Investment Alert Task Force found and blocked 206 again fintech lending namely an online lending company aka illegal lending in October 2020.
In more detail, the online lending company aka illegal lending consists of, among others: 114 commodity futures trading (PBB), 6 cooperatives, 6 crypto assets, 8 money games, 3 activities that duplicate licensed entities, and 21 borrowing with other activities.
In addition, the Investment Alert Task Force also took action against 154 entities that were suspected of carrying out business activities without permission from the competent authorities and which had the potential to harm the public were also arrested throughout this October.
Chairman of the Investment Alert Task Force Tongam L. Tobing in his official release on Thursday (2910) said, with this latest data, from 2018 to October 2020, the Investment Alert Task Force had stopped 2,923 illegal loans.
“We continue to intensify cyber patrols in order to find and block illegal fintech lending and illegal investment offers before they can be accessed and cause casualties in the community,” explained Tongam. (29/10).

Tongam also appealed to the public before making loans in fintech lending and investing in the financial sector to ensure that those who offer loans and investments have a license from the competent authority in accordance with the business activities being carried out.
