Al-Marsad Daily: Oil prices rose Wednesday, offsetting losses suffered in the previous session as investors turned to assets that carry high risks such as primary commodities, amidst equity market gains and the emergence of signs of renewed demand in China, the largest oil importer.
Oil prices also received a boost from risk appetite, which rebounded thanks to encouraging earnings from US companies and the rally in equity markets.
By 04:55 GMT, Brent crude oil futures for the December settlement were up 46 cents, or 0.5%, to $ 90.49 a barrel.
US crude from West Texas for November delivery rose to $ 83.69 a barrel, an increase of 87 cents, or 1.1%.
