Meetings will take place over two days, which may last until after midnight. The Chamber’s leading Republican, Mitch McConnell, granted prosecutors and defense lawyers 24 hours each to make the opening speeches.

For the Democrats, hearing witnesses is particularly important. It is not yet known when this will take place.
